Agenda and appointments

Seika separates two views with different purposes: Agenda to create new appointments, and Appointments to manage the ones that already exist.

Agenda: creating an appointment

Agenda shows a monthly calendar for the business. Days with at least one confirmed appointment are marked visibly (not only by color — also with an indicator that works without relying on color). To create an appointment:

  1. Pick a day on the calendar.
  2. Appointments opens with that day already selected.
  3. Fill in the client, professional, service and time; the system only offers times that are actually available for the business hours and the chosen professional.

Appointments: managing what exists

Appointments is the list for day-to-day management. By default it shows pending confirmation and confirmed appointments, most recently created first; a dropdown filter lets you see any other status (completed, cancelled, no-show) or all of them.

From an appointment's detail, depending on your role and permissions, you can:

For clients booking

A client can see upcoming appointments and history, confirm, cancel or reschedule within the allowed limits, and choose to change professional if the business enables it — all from the same appointment detail, no extra steps.

Booking without opening the app

Every business has its own booking link (and a QR code) that anyone can use to book an appointment without already having an account: the same flow creates the account and the appointment in one step. Someone who already has an account can share that same link to book faster.

Upcoming-appointment reminders

Every confirmed appointment notifies the client and the person handling it 24 hours ahead and also 30, 15 and 5 minutes before it starts. All notices show up in the bell; only the 24-hour and 30-minute ones are also emailed. If you don't want them, turn off "Appointment reminders" in the notification preferences. If an appointment is rescheduled the notices follow the new time; if it is cancelled they are withdrawn.
