Seika Terms of Use
Version 0.2 · Effective since: September 25, 2026
The Spanish version prevails in case of discrepancy.
1. Who we are and what Seika is
Seika is a scheduling and appointment-management platform for businesses and their customers, provided by COROZO S.A.S., with its address at Calle 43 # 27 - 161, Santa Marta, Magdalena, Colombia ("COROZO", "we"). You can write to us at soporte@seikaapp.com.
These Terms govern your use of Seika through our website and any application or channel we offer now or in the future (including native mobile apps), the "Service". By creating an account, activating an invitation, booking an appointment or ticking the acceptance box, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms, our Personal Data Processing Policy and our Cookie Policy. The Refund Policy is informational and complements section 7.
2. Who may use the Service
- You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you act on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind it.
- The information you provide must be truthful, complete and up to date. We ask for a first name and two surnames to reduce fake accounts.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for what happens in your session. Tell us immediately about any unauthorized use.
3. Types of users
- Owners and administrators of a business configure schedules, team, clients and appointments for that business. A plan subscription belongs to the business and only its owner manages it.
- Employees serve appointments according to the permissions the business grants.
- Customers book, confirm, reschedule and cancel appointments with one or more businesses using a single account. Using Seika as a customer is free.
A business is responsible to its customers for the services it provides, its prices, conditions and cancellation policies. COROZO supplies the technology and is not a party to the service relationship between a business and its customer, and does not guarantee the quality, availability or outcome of the services a business provides.
4. Appointment rules
- Appointments are confirmed, rescheduled and cancelled under the rules shown in the Service. Currently: a new appointment pending confirmation is released after 15 minutes if not confirmed; the customer may cancel or reschedule up to 1 hour before the start; every cancellation requires a reason.
- Times are shown in Colombia time (UTC−5). Availability, timing and status decisions are always made by our system, not by your device.
- We may change these rules to improve the Service; we will notify you when a change materially affects your rights.
5. Prohibited conduct
You may not: (a) use the Service for unlawful purposes or to infringe third-party rights; (b) impersonate people or businesses; (c) attempt unauthorized access to accounts, data or systems; (d) overload, abusively automate or interfere with the Service, or bypass security or anti-abuse controls (including Turnstile verification), your plan limits or the single free trial; (e) reverse engineer, except as permitted by law; (f) upload offensive, malicious or infringing content; (g) use the Service to send unsolicited communications; (h) make fraudulent use of payment methods.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable, and retain the information needed to comply with the law and defend our rights.
6. Content and intellectual property
- Seika, its code, design, trademarks and documentation belong to COROZO or its licensors. We grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
- You keep ownership of the data and content you upload. You authorize us to process it only to provide the Service, keep it secure and comply with the law, as described in the Data Policy.
- If you send us suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to compensate you.
7. Plans, prices and payments
7.1 Plans
Every business starts on the Basic plan, at no cost. Paid plans offer more capacity and features:
| Plan | Price (USD) | Confirmed appointments per cycle | Administrators / employees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | 0 | 50 | 1 / 2 |
| Plus | 10.99 per month or 109.90 per year | 200 | 5 / 10 |
| Pro | 25 per month or 250 per year | 500 | 15 / 30 |
| Unlimited | 199 per year | Unlimited | Unlimited |
Administrator and employee limits do not count the business owner. The features included in each plan are shown on the pricing page. A feature marked "Coming soon" is not available yet: it is not sold or included until it launches.
7.2 Add-ons
An add-on is a one-month pass, from the day of purchase to the same day of the following month. It does not renew by itself and adds to your current plan:
| Add-on | Price (USD) |
|---|---|
| +50 / +100 / +200 confirmed appointments | 5 / 6 / 10 |
| +2 / +5 / +10 employees | 5 / 8 / 12 |
| Full metrics | 5 |
| Unlimited appointments | 19 |
Add-ons for features marked "Coming soon" are not sold yet.
7.3 Taxes and price changes
Published prices include taxes. The applicable tax is calculated and handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record (section 7.8). We may change prices and the catalog; a price change applies only to future renewals, with prior notice by email and in the app that lets you cancel before it takes effect. Your subscription keeps the terms under which you signed up until it renews.
7.4 Automatic renewal and cancellation
Paid plans renew automatically every month or every year, depending on the period you choose, at the price in force when you signed up, until you cancel. The owner may cancel at any time from "Plan and billing"; cancellation takes effect at the end of the cycle already paid, and until then you keep the plan's rights. You can cancel at no cost before the renewal. Signing up for a paid plan again after cancelling is a new subscription and does not include a free trial.
7.5 Changing plans
- Upgrading takes effect immediately, with the proration calculated by Paddle.
- Downgrading takes effect at the end of the paid cycle.
- If you downgrade and have more administrators or employees than the new limit, existing members stay active, but you cannot add new ones until you are back within the limit. You never lose your data by downgrading.
7.6 Plan limits and failed payment
- When you use 80% of your cycle's confirmed appointments, we notify you in the app and by email.
- At 100%, new appointments cannot be created or confirmed; appointments already confirmed are served normally. You can upgrade your plan or buy an add-on to continue.
- If a charge fails, Paddle retries it and the business is past due: while it lasts, new appointments cannot be created or confirmed, but those already confirmed are served. If retries run out, the business drops to the Basic plan without losing its data and we notify you. Once payment is settled, the plan is restored.
7.7 Single free trial
Each person is entitled to a single 14-day free trial on a paid plan, once per email address for their entire lifetime: it does not repeat if they change plans, delete their account or sign up again with the same email (which is why we keep an irreversible fingerprint of the email, per the Data Policy). A payment method is required to start it. Nothing is charged during the trial; at the end you are charged automatically the price and on the date shown to you before you confirm, unless you cancel before then from "Plan and billing". Three days before the charge we notify you by email and in the app. Changing plans during the trial does not restart or extend it. If you cancel during the trial, the business returns to Basic at no charge and without losing data.
7.8 Paddle, Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By buying a plan or an add-on you also accept Paddle's Buyer Terms. COROZO does not store card data: payment takes place at Paddle. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
7.9 Consumer rights
Seika is aimed at businesses. When a person acts as a consumer, the non-waivable rights granted by applicable law are respected, including, where applicable, the right of withdrawal in distance sales (Colombian Law 1480 of 2011, art. 47), and those granted by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
8. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability, but the Service is provided "as is" and may be interrupted by maintenance, third-party failures or force majeure. We may modify, extend or withdraw features; if we withdraw an essential feature of a paid service, we will give reasonable notice.
9. Electronic notices
You agree to receive by email and in-app the messages needed to operate the Service (verification, appointment confirmations, reminders, plan-usage, subscription and security notices, and legal changes). Electronic messages are fully valid under Colombian Law 527 of 1999. Promotional messages are sent only with your authorization, which you may withdraw at any time.
10. Personal data and cookies
We process personal data in accordance with Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1074 of 2015 and other applicable rules, and, for people in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, in line with the GDPR. Read the Personal Data Processing Policy and the Cookie Policy. Accepting these Terms does not authorize processing for purposes other than those described there; where the law requires it, we will ask for your authorization separately.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) COROZO is not liable for services provided by businesses or agreements between a business and a customer; (b) COROZO is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of opportunity or data resulting from causes beyond its control; (c) COROZO's total liability to you for the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the event. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, nor non-waivable consumer rights.
12. Indemnity
You agree to hold COROZO harmless from third-party claims arising from your breach of these Terms or the law, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Termination and account deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account, go to "Account" and choose "Delete account"; we will ask you to sign in again and confirm in writing. If you own a business, you must first choose between transferring ownership to an administrator or deleting the business as well. Before deleting you can download your data.
- 30-day grace period. The account is scheduled for deletion: your sessions are closed, the subscription renewal is cancelled (a refund is not automatic; see the Refund Policy), future appointments are cancelled with notice, and the booking link and QR are deactivated. If you sign in within those 30 days you can reactivate the account; the business comes back on the Basic plan and appointments already cancelled are not restored.
- Permanent deletion. After 30 days we permanently delete your data, except as stated below. We send you a reminder 7 days before.
- What we keep. Without readable personal data: the irreversible email fingerprint that records use of the free trial (to prevent its abuse), the transaction and subscription identifiers needed for accounting, and aggregated metrics. In other businesses' history, your name is replaced with "Deleted customer".
We may also close accounts under section 5. Clauses that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update them. We will publish the new version with its date and, for material changes, ask you to accept it again before you keep using the features that depend on it. We keep a record of the version you accepted and when.
15. Mobile apps and stores
If we offer mobile apps, they are also governed by these Terms and by the terms of the store you download them from; in case of conflict about store use, the store's terms prevail for what concerns the store.
16. Governing law, claims and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia. You may submit requests, complaints and claims to soporte@seikaapp.com; we will answer within legal deadlines. Without prejudice to your consumer rights before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), disputes will be submitted to the competent authorities of Colombia. If you are a consumer in another country, mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence are respected.
